Installing your own server

You can try Door Tablet with your own network. The software is available for all standard corporate scheduling platforms, and you may test any of them.

  2. Download the base server installer available on downloads
  3. Install Door Tablet on your server
  4. For details on how to install the software specific platform check the navigator on the left.

Note: for the Door Tablet for Windows Server the default HTTP Port is 81.

Run the installer on your server:

Keep going until you complete the installation process:

The Door Tablet server launcher will be placed on the desktop and in the menu - start it. When prompted run it as a console application. You can later set it to run as a Windows Service.

Note, once the server has started for the first time it will show some errors. This is normal. Now restart the server by:
  1. Type the letter Q and hit return
  2. Lanch the server again - no errors show show.

You should now be able to open the Door Tablet admin console in the browser, like so:
http://localhost:81
OR
http://127.0.0.1:81

Note
If you install the server on a VM using Windows Runtime OS, you will need to install a small package from Microsoft. Download it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=52685
